I’ve written recently about my approach of reducing the number of apps I’m trying to develop and maintain, and, my decision to focus on Nudg’em (now named, Reminder+). As you’d expect, download/sales numbers have factored into that decision…
2015 numbers, so far.
Following are the download and In-App Purchase numbers for Nudg’em in 2015, from January to the end of August, before version 2.0 was released:
- Days: 243
- Downloads: 1620
- Downloads / day: 6.7
- IAPs: 223
- IAPs / day: 0.92
- Download to IAP conversion rate: 13.8%
Highlight, the month of June:
- 41 In-App Purchases from 222 downloads
- 1.4 IAPs per day; 18.5% conversion rate
Comparison with 2014 numbers.
Version 1.2.2 of Nudg’em ran through the entirety of 2014, into 2015, up until the end of August. So these numbers are from the same version of the app:
- Days: 365
- Downloads: 1820
- Downloads / day: 5
- IAPs: 243
- IAPs / day: 0.67
- Download to IAP conversion rate: 13.4%
The conversion rate is fairly consistent, but slightly higher in 2015. Combined with increased downloads – there have been more In-App Purchases during 2015.
I’ll follow this post with a discussion of why, for now, at least, I’m developing Reminder+ further.
